Transform Clinic

Frequently Asked Questions

Our safe, evidence-based treatments support profound personal growth
and lasting well-being.

Below are some of the common questions about our services.

Where is our clinic based?

Our clinics are based in the UK, with remote clinics based in Portugal and the Netherlands.

Who is part of the Transform Clinics team?

The Transform team consist of qualified UK and European Doctors, qualified psychiatrists, and qualified therapists and facilitators.  We work within all UK and European guidelines as set by the medical bodies in which country we operate within.

What conditions can be treated with psilocybin and MDMA therapy?

Extensive conditions can be treated, including PTSD, depression, anxiety and support with all aspects of mental health.  It can also be used to treat long-term chronic pain, body dysmorphia and eating disorders.  It can be used to reconnect with the mind and body, working with inner-child work, through to neurodiverse minds.  It can also help with terminal/end of life care.  These medicines can help with a huge variety of areas, within only a few limiting factors and areas.

Is psilocybin and MDMA therapy safe?

No medication is without risk.  When you work with Transform Clinics, we perform detailed assessments on each patient to ensure that we can ascertain the suitability for the treatment plan, and also that you are fully aware of any risk that are associated with the therapy.

What can I expect during a therapy session?

Each pre-journey, journey itself and post integration work is fully customised around each patient attending the clinic.  Although we have a straight forward simple structure in place, each structure is then precisely altered and completely adjusted to suit the needs of the patient and the length of their care and overall journey with Transform Clinics.

How long does it take to see results?

Most patients recognise deep shift and change after only one journey.  Some require additional journeys to continue the work depending on the complexity of the trauma or issue being healed.  The results are long lasting, with high statistics of continued healing and results many months and years after the initial treatment plan.

Are the treatments legal and approved?

Currently the UK legislation is very limited when it comes to the use of psychedelics.  Across the USA and the world this is rapidly changing and we are tracking the legislation carefully.  Currently we do not administer any illegal drugs in the UK, and our patients work with our remote clinics in Europe where these drugs are legal.  We provide the pre and post treatment integration work in the UK, with an easy (and cost effective) way for you to access the journey itself abroad.  Once the legislation has shifted in the UK we will then look to provide the entire service in the UK.

How do I know if I’m a candidate for these therapies?

When you fill out our contact form, you will be given a detailed medical questionnaire to complete.  We will also ask permission to speak with your Dr (this is optional).  You will need to answer truthfully and carefully so we can ensure that we can establish your suitability for the medicines we offer.  We may also then arrange an initial consultation with one of our team.  Following on from this, we will provide you with the next steps and if you are suitable to join Transform Clinic as a patient.

How should I prepare for my first session?

Once you have enrolled with Transform Clinic, and the correct package has been discussed and approved, we will then send you detailed onboarding documentation.  In the lead up for your first session with us, you will be expected to attend pre-therapeutic work (each sessions and length determined on a case by case basis), followed by the actual medical journey.  Again we will provide you individually with what you need to preapre and consider before taking the medicine.  After the first journey we will then support you with post integration work, a way to ensure that your journey is integrated into actual change in your life.

What is the cost of treatment and is it covered by insurance?

Transform Clinic is run by professional Doctors, therapists and facilitators.  This is a private clinic and currently is not offered as part of the NHS and government program for mental health – although we hope in the future to be able to work with the UK government to allow grants/access to those with a more limited income.  At the moment Transform Clinic is a private clinic, which will require you to pay for the package which is discussed at intake.  You would need to check with your own insurance to see if this would be covered, but it is unlikely to be covered by UK medical insurance until the UK legislation changes on the use of psychedelics for therapeutic use.

How do I schedule a consultation or appointment?

Please fill out the contact us form, and one of of the Transform Clinic team will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
